SCHOOL BAND:

School band marching on to the stage in unison, wearing a uniform, with poise, with all symmetry and discipline, playing brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments is a delight to discern.

Adarsh World School has its school band which helps students become more confident in their social skills, giving them a chance to practice emotions, fine motor skills, discipline, rigor, and persistence. A band is a safe place where students learn teamwork and the love of making music together.

 

ABACUS:

ABACUS classes are so helpful and valuable in training young minds. These classes not only help with the basic calculations but are also helpful in effective counting of decimal points, negative numbers, etc.

Use of hands, and a tool with beads to calculate allow the abacus learners an opportunity to activate the brain sensors. The Abacus helps to promote a stress-free way of learning Math concepts.

AWS has a team of abacus teachers who come to share their knowledge with the pupils and scrutinize  them based on the assessments conducted for classes I to VIII

 

OLYMPIAD:

Adarsh World School in collaboration with Silver Zone Olympiads conducts exams for all the main subjects to enhance the comprehensive and analytical abilities of the child. Hindi Vikas Manch is another partner of the institution to manage Olympiad exams for Hindi. These Olympiads aim to prepare the students for a bright and enterprising future.

 

ZONAL AND INTER-SCHOOL COMPETITIONS:

Competitions are a part of academics. Competition is always a good thing. It pushes one to do better and be more productive. Adarsh World School believes in the ideology of participation in the race, whatever the outcome be. Apart from preparing the students for wins and losses, competitions also help them to develop abilities like patience and losses. Adarsh World School encourages and gives opportunity to its young scholars to participate in the State level exams like JSTSE (Junior Science Talent Search Examination), MVPP (Mukhyamantri Vigyan  Pratibha Pariksha) for Class IX,  and NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) for Class X. Newspaper reading is the habit instilled in Adarshians from a very early age. In collaboration with The Hindustan Times / The Times of India, the school has enrolled every student with the annual subscription of Students’ Edition to enlighten each one of them and to make them aware of the ongoing events in India and abroad.

 

COUNSELOR:

Counseling helps to shape students’ behavior and also instills enough discipline in them. Proper guidance helps them achieve their goals. Well-guided and counseled students to know what to do and how to do things in the best possible way. The counselor,  at Adarsh World School, helps in guiding those children who need to be given a direction.

 

CAREER COUNSELING:

Career counselors help chalk out the best version of a student. They examine the strengths, weaknesses, and other factors of a student. Finally, they provide the right combination of the career field and the skills they possess. SPORTS ACTIVITY :

Skolaro is a part of the Adarsh World School Management System which makes the teaching-learning process as transparent as ruby. Now it is so easy to give study materials to the students, homework/ assignments, and online tests too. Taking daily attendance of the pupils, and giving report cards, everything seems to be a cakewalk for those involved in the process.

No one had ever thought that the second home of the students, their school, the nest with its chirping birds, would once stand there, only with its vacant rooms. HOUSES:

The school is divided into subunits called ‘houses’ – Mars, Mercury, Neptune, Uranus. Each student is allocated to one house at the moment of enrolment. Houses compete with one another at sports and in other ways thus providing a focus for group loyalty.

 

PICNIC AND EXCURSIONS:
